Putt away all day at the 10 best mini-golf courses in & near Leeds!

If you’re wondering why mini golf is hot in Leeds, our answer is simple: it ditches the boujee side of traditional golf and cranks up the craziness. That means there will be no boring fairways, just windmills, sharks, and pirate ships.

Beyond that, it’s over before you can yawn…not that you would. And since scoring isn’t rocket science, anyone can jump right in.

All right, enough of our waffling. Time to experience it yourself, and there are no better places to do so than our faves below!

  • Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 1 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 10 pm

Website

Decked out in graffiti and glowing neon, Junkyard Golf Club is hands-down one of the most electric joints we’ve hit. Their cocktails are just as insane—like Creepy Clown, a gin-and-strawberry concoction we always sip between swings.

Course-wise, Bozo is our go-to since we’re huge into that ‘creepy carnival’ and ‘murderous clown’ aesthetics. If you prefer something less haunting, there are two alternatives: Pablo packed with pirate pigs, or Gary, a 90s garage with a real smashed-up mini.

Tip: Pop over from Sunday to Wednesday after 5 pm for cheaper rounds and cocktails.

Family fun hits different at Putt & Play Leeds. The 9-hole course is packed with interactive touches, from slides to surfboards, making it kid-approved.

For the seasoned grown-ups, the Master Course offers a proper challenge with its trickier hurdles and smaller holes. And once hunger bugs you, there are massive pizzas loaded with extremely cheesy and meaty toppings.

Tip: Bring the little ones along! Even the under-5s can join the madness.

  • Sun – 1 pm to 12 am

Website

Roxy Ball Room is home to sensational bar games, and their mini golf is no exception. The 9-hole course is riddled with pesky slopes, loops, and wooden obstacles to keep groups, usually craft beer-buzzed ones, on their toes.

No need to shell out big dosh either; a game will set you back just £8. The sweet bit is you can pair a round with BBQ-tossed fries or an herby Margherita, both best followed with a Roxy signature cocktail.

Tip: Bring an ID. Students get discounts on games and drinks.

Hollywood Bowl isn’t just about knocking pins down while sipping thick chocolate milkshakes or munching sour cream-covered nachos. It’s also a family-friendly hotspot for mini golf.

Their take on the game is a doddle to grasp: rack up high scores with fewer putts and take the gold. Each hole is scored differently too, with tougher holes giving higher points!

Tip: Check their offers if you want to save some hard-earned cash.

Website

Our crazy golf experience at Boom Battle Bar was wild, as this neon-splattered haunt intended. Their 9-hole, free-for-all course was pure chaos, thanks to features like conveyor belts, catapults, and the ‘unlimited’ player count.

Surprisingly, it was easy on the purse strings, with each teammate paying £8 for 45 minutes of mini golf. Even the signature cocktails were a steal—case in point: the £8.75 lime and rum Boom Punch.

Tip: Grab a 2-for-1 cocktail deal Monday to Thursday, from 4 pm to 7 pm!

Volcano Falls felt like a mashup of Jurassic Park and an Indiana Jones flick. Moving dinosaurs, skull caves, and ancient statues perfectly set the scene for us (and our tots).

Paradise Island is perfect for little ones who’d rather have fun than grind teeth over too-tricky courses. Its 18 beginner-friendly holes only come with a few easy obstacles like barrels and stepping stones, but overall, it’s a breeze.

Sticking to the tropical theme, the course is also easy-to-the-eyes, especially for kids. Palm trees, sea caves, and statues stand at almost every corner, so it’s like a slice of a Caribbean quay smack in the UK.

As Bradford’s one-and-only indoor mini golf spot, Looney Golf Leisure was a no-brainer for us to try. The two courses didn’t disappoint.

Neon Jungle was a roaring start, with tiger mouths and tiki hurdles galore. Dump Yard cranked it up a notch, combining retro-style obstacles with a glow-in-the-dark setup that had us laughing and losing balls in equal measure.
