Drink & boogie your worries away at the best nightclubs in Leeds!
Leeds is a city that doesn’t sleep, especially when the weekend rolls in. Nightclubs are abuzz until sunrise, and everybody beats the workday blues with a pint or on the dancefloor.
It also doesn’t matter whether you prefer raving to electro or still dancing to 2000s pop-punk hits. There’s a club for your style and moves here.
If you want to find your perfect place to unwind, we narrowed the choices down to the best haunts. The party starts below!
The Old Red Bus Station
– From theoldredbusstation
Address: 104 Vicar Ln
Contact Details: 0113 345 1661
Operating Hours:
- Thu – 4 pm to 10 pm
- Fri – 4 pm to 4 am
- Sat – 1 pm to 4 am
Saturdays, you’ll often catch us throwing shapes at The Old Red Bus Station, vibing to underground electro beats in a club that was actually a bus station! We’re just so hooked on its industrial-chic aesthetic.
Also, with 3 dancefloors to muck about on, we’ve never had to elbow our way to a good time. The vegan-friendly menu also ensures there’s always a burger and wine for every team member.
Tip: Some events are free, others aren’t. Head to their website to see what’s what.
The Key Club
– From thekeyclubleeds
Address: The Merrion Centre, 66 Merrion St
Operating Hours:
- Tue to Thu – 11 pm to 3 am
- Fri to Sat – 11 pm to 4 am
Emo never carked it at The Key Club, as alt-club nights and pop-punk bangers stir up the dancefloor here. That means they blast everything from You Me At Six to AC/DC for around £2 to £4, with a bonus pint for just £1.50.
It’s not all riffs, though, as every third Thursday, the setlist softens up with a bit of Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter. Even cowboys get a look-in, with country tunes from Knockin’ Boots, typically playing every second Saturday of the month.
Tip: Teens aged 14–18 can enter, but once they’re in, there’s no leaving and re-entering unless they’re with an adult.
Popworld – Leeds
– Frompopworldleeds
Address: 43 Cookridge St
Contact Details: 0113 468 9619
Operating Hours:
- Tue to Thu – 9 pm to 3 am
- Fri – 5 pm to 3 am
- Sat – 1 pm to 3 am
The ecstatic and colourful Popworld is where pop classics from every decade have punters dancing until dawn. And the sweetest part is it only gets quiet on Sundays and Mondays; the rest of the week is a popfest.
For instance, Wednesdays go off with Society, a midweek sesh exclusively for students, while Saturdays are about Candy Pop, where drinks are slashed by 50%.
Themed nights are on the menu too, perfect if you want to dance to Britney or Beyonce the entire evening.
Tip: Keep an eye on what’s on. You might snag discounts or catch a themed event!
Home Nightclub Leeds
– From tropiloco_leeds
Address: The Light, 117 Albion St
Contact Details: 0113 831 2122
- Operating Hours:
- Wed, Fri – 10 pm to 3 am
- Sat – 11 pm to 4 am
Home is where every kind of raver can go wild, whether they only vibe to R&B music or lose themselves to Ibiza-style beats. It’s also a bargain lover’s haunt; we’re talking £3.50 doubles, £1.50 pints, and £3 tequila rose.
As for events, Antics on Wednesdays was the last one we hit, and it lived up to the hype. One room was pure rave chaos with DJs going full throttle, while the other had live percussionists setting the tempo, with light shows and arcade games to boot.
Tip: They host all sorts of private parties here, from birthdays to hen nights and more.
The HiFi Club
– From 1fortyproject
Address: 2 Central Rd
Contact Details: 0113 244 5867
Operating Hours:
- Tue to Fri – 11 pm to 4 am
- Sat – 6:30 pm to 4 am
HiFi has the trifecta party-goers deserve and need. It boasts eclectic tunes (e.g. funk, hip-hop, and soul), a high-voltage atmosphere, and most importantly, prices that won’t mug you off, with tickets floating around the £2–£4 mark.
Tuesdays are even better for students, thanks to the club’s Bratpop event, which oozes Y2K energy. Think catchy melodies, cheery beats, and a whole lot of Britney and Taylor.
Tip: Bringing a big crew? Shoot an email to [email protected] to see if there are group discounts on offer.
Baracoa Luxe Bar
– From baracoaluxebar
Address: 52 Call Ln
Contact Details: 0113 245 2324
Operating Hours: Fri to Sat – 5 pm to 4 am
The squad can’t get enough of Baracoa Luxe Bar’s lounge-meets-bar-meets-club concept. Why would we? It’s effortlessly executed through plush, boutique-ish looks and supercharged music.
Fridays are when we typically rock by, with free entry and 2-4-1 deals, which only get more wallet-friendly every time we enter as a large group.
Tunes-wise, it’s sexy and white-hot; chart-toppers and dance get the most playtime, but hip-hop and soul get their spin, too.

Mint Warehouse
– From heavyhousesociety
Address: Aquatite House, Water Ln, Holbeck
Contact Details: 0113 245 3790
Boasting a 750-strong capacity, student prices, and house-techno hits, Mint Warehouse knows how to keep waves of revellers in full swing. Summer has nothing on it either, as their outdoor terrace hosts daytime parties hotter than fish grease.
What you should be pumped for, though, is the club’s cutting-edge Funktion One Evo sound system and the LED ceiling. The acoustics are crisp and bass-heavy, while the ceiling cranks the immersion to a level best described as ‘another dimension.’
Tip: There’s a casual dress code. Jeans, cargo, and non-sport shorts are fine. However, gym wear, full tracksuits, two-piece gym sets, caps, hats, and chunky gold or silver chains are a no-go.
Headrow House
– From headrowhouse
Address: 19a The Headrow
Contact Details: 0113 245 9370
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Thu – 4 pm to 11 pm
- Fri – 2 pm to 2 am
- Sat – 12 pm to 2 am
More than just a weekend beer hall, Headrow House proves that celebrations are better when several options are on the table. That’s why they have a space for everyone, whether you fancy necking pints and having a party indoors or dancing under a starlit sky.
The event and music are just as varied. Last time, we caught A Little Faith’s launch party, and it bounced between disco, funk, and indie rock—all for nowt (a few gigs might cost you, though).
Tip: The closest car parks are NCP Car Park The Core and Edward Street Car Park.
Freedom Mills
– From ripe.music
Address: Unit 47 Washington St
Operating Hours: Fri to Sat – 11 pm to 5 am
Turning a Victorian venue into one of Leeds’ hottest rave spots is just one of Freedom Mills’ flexes. The other? Always booking Leeds’ biggest DJs like DJ Fingerblast and Pharaoh Brunson.
No half-hearted tunes as well—just pure house, rave, and bass pumping through the 500-cap venue till sunrise. And if you’re into themed nights, they go all out, with events like dirty discos and even Diwali parties.
Tip: This club can get a bit chilly, so make sure to dress for the weather.
Queens Court’s Pride Leeds
– From queenscourtandpride
Address: 167-168 Briggate

Often touted as Leeds’ chicest LGBTQIA+ haunt, Queens Court’s Pride is never a dull affair. The UK’s top queer DJs and performers roll through on the regular, so patrons are always treated to wall-to-wall pop bangers and dancefloor anthems.
Their cocktail game is also strong—cosmos, espresso martinis, the works. Standard prices sit around £8–£10, but when a big night’s on, prices can drop drastically.

If cabaret or a Rihanna tribute show is your kind of night, then the always-glam, never-drab Viaduct Showbar is where it’s at. But if you really want to up the ante, Fridays and Saturdays are the main events, starting with cabaret before sliding into DJ-fuelled dances.
Just don’t go thinking the rest of the week is a ghost town. There’s something on nearly every night, whether it’s Monday’s twerk parties or Tuesday’s karaoke showdown, all offering half-priced drinks!

Fibre Leeds
– From barfibre
Address: 168 Lower Briggate
Contact Details: 0113 344 9550
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Wed – 4 pm to 2 am
- Thu – 4 pm to 3 am
- Fri – 2 pm to 4 am
- Sat – 12 pm to 5 am
- Sun – 2 pm to 2 am
House heads frequent Fibre in Queens Court, and that’s not a coincidence. Famed for being ‘at the forefront of the house music scene,’ DJs here blast synth- and bass-heavy grooves in an airy courtyard all week.
They also don’t just turn on a random playlist; the ‘Fibre’ sound is hard to hear elsewhere, and their resident DJs are the primary reason why. Some legends to look out for are Angel Lee, Habbo Foxx, and Tom Garnett.
Tip: You can score free drinks by downloading and using their app. It’s available for both IOS and Android.
Distrikt
– From distriktbarleeds
Address: Central Arcade, 7 Duncan St
Contact Details: 0113 243 3674
Operating Hours:
- Tue to Fri – 6 pm to 2 am
- Sat – 2 pm to 2 am
- Sun – 3 pm to 1 am
Ah, Distrikt, the underground bar where we thought we’d just pop in 1–2 drinks and ended up staying ‘til dawn. Can’t blame us; their Martin audio system made sure we didn’t miss a beat, blasting electro and funk tunes that were so clear, they sounded concert-like.
Specifically, it was their Friday’s Redefy event we rocked by, but the same quality is present any night, starting on Tuesday’s student parties. The 2-4-1 promotions are also a constant, and let’s just say we went all in on the deals.
Tip: Students with a valid ID can grab happy hour discounts all night long.
REJUVENATION
– From rejuvenationleeds
Address: Rejuvenation, 36 Whitehouse St
Contact Details: 07816 167411
When it comes to old skool raving in Leeds, REJUVENATION might be the best in town. The bar brings back the 90s with fast-tempo bangers, and when they say they’re going for 8 hours of euphoria, they mean it.
It’s not just one room of madness either; you have 5 different rooms to bounce between, each with primo sound and light systems. The other rooms play different genres as well, from breaks and trance to Italian and hardcore house.
Tip: Entrance fees vary; give them a call for the latest info.
