Any footage can be cinematic with the best videographers in Leeds!

Camera Expertise: Every videographer here has mastered the main tool of the trade, including proficiency in things like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and more. We also went with editing whizzes, specifically those with cuts or colour-grading that elevate the product post-shoot.

Creativity: Looking at their portfolios, we curated a list of videographers who are wizards at using angles, transitions, and unique perspectives to make a video a piece of art. They can also frame narratives that draw people in.

Experience: All videographers here have at least 3 years on their resume. Beyond that, we ensure the list is exclusive to experienced pros who know what to do in case tweaks or weather shifts occur.

Communication: Here, you’ll find videographers who’ll understand your vision, offer guidance, and keep you updated.

Cost Efficiency: We know quality video production isn’t cheap, but we still did the legwork to narrow the list to videographers offering transparent pricing and real value for every penny you’ll spend.

As a business owner, thinking I could whip up my own promo video was a mistake of biblical proportions. The final cut looked like it had been filmed by a sleep-deprived, already-on-his-fifth-pint amateur.

That’s why I only hire Leeds’ A-rate videographers these days. Their creativity, pro-level footage, and post-production wizardry make my videos look like a million bucks. They’ve earned me some top pounds, too!

If you too need the help of these pros, this review on the city’s best videographers sifted through everything, including the rough bits, to ensure you get your money’s worth.

How much do videographers in Leeds charge?

1. Media Mavericks

Address: Airedale House, 423 Kirkstall Rd, Burley

Contact Details: 07703 764020

Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours

Website

Since 2017, Media Mavericks has been the creative powerhouse we keep coming back to. We’ve worked with them on five-plus projects, and our team has come to appreciate their collaborative approach.

We looked at their clientele and found giants like eBay, Starbucks, and Volvo. Seeing that those big brands trust them, we know they’re doing something right.

What really sold us, though, was their cinematic portfolio. The lighting is crisp, there are no pixelated/blurry/grainy shots, and their storytelling is well-paced and detailed.

However, their wedding video services come at a tag of £1,100. Leeds’ typical starting fee is £700.

Nabbing a slot with Media Mavericks also takes patience, especially on Thursdays and Fridays when they’re at their busiest.

When they do get to you, though, the turnaround time is speedy, about 2–6 weeks after the event.

Their range is another win. They handle music videos, branding campaigns, wedding films, and more.

Pros

  • Reasonable prices
  • Professional team
  • Trusted by big brands
  • Creative
  • 2–6-week turnaround time
  • Simplifies the process
  • Wide service range
  • Covers any industry
  • High-quality videos
  • Experienced

Cons

  • Booking requires patience
  • Steeper wedding services

Listened to Our Ideas

‘Media Mavericks have filmed over 10 videos for West Yorkshire Electrical, and the quality of their work has been consistently impressive. Each video perfectly captured the message we wanted to share and was polished to a professional standard. They clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in the attention to detail and creative touches they bring to their projects.

The process was straightforward, and the team was easy to work with throughout. They listened to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure the final videos met our expectations. If you’re looking for high-quality videography, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Media Mavericks to anyone.’

Worked Flexibly and Tirelessly

‘We commissioned Media Mavericks to do the video for our school website and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. From start to finish the whole process was a joy. Finley listened attentively to what we wanted to achieve, gave us top tips to get the look and feel that we wanted and was very flexible in his approach. Media Mavericks have such a can do approach and so nothing was a flat no, just a, ’We can do it this way to achieve what you want!’

On the day, Elliot, the videographer was amazing. Everyone commented on his friendliness and manner with both staff and pupils. He worked flexibly and tirelessly throughout the day so that we got every shot that we wanted.

The turn around for the end product was really quick and our comments for amendments, quickly taken on board.

I cannot recommend Media Mavericks highly enough for their professionalism, creativity, manner and high end product.

Thank you’

Edits Were Great

‘Filmed a video for a crowdfunding campaign. Fresh cut were very professional, spent time to understand the goals of the campaign and ensure the props and shoot captured the product well. The edits were great and have produced a very strong campaign video. We are currently 1/3 of the way through the campaign and over 1200% funded, the quality of the campaign video is a big factor in this. I have had several creators reach out to me directly to find out who made the video as it has made a strong impression with them. I would recommend Rick and the team whole heartedly!’

– Ben Beavers, Google Review

Fantastic End Product

‘Certainly not your average production company, Fresh Cut take the time to fully understand the brief, bring a stack of great ideas to bring the vision to life, and then professionally produce and edit the film to deliver a fantastic end product. Really happy & fully recommended.’

We recommend To Have and To Hold Films for wedding videos, as you can probably tell from their name.

They create a chill atmosphere, so everyone is relaxed before the cameras start rolling. The results are authentic, unposed moments.

From there, they craft those raw moments into emotionally charged stories, complete with superb audio and voiceovers that actually sound human—no AI nonsense here.

You’ll also get what you envision, but if you’re open to ideas, they’re more than happy to toss in creative suggestions.
