Since 2017, Media Mavericks has been the creative powerhouse we keep coming back to. We’ve worked with them on five-plus projects, and our team has come to appreciate their collaborative approach.
We looked at their clientele and found giants like eBay, Starbucks, and Volvo. Seeing that those big brands trust them, we know they’re doing something right.
What really sold us, though, was their cinematic portfolio. The lighting is crisp, there are no pixelated/blurry/grainy shots, and their storytelling is well-paced and detailed.
However, their wedding video services come at a tag of £1,100. Leeds’ typical starting fee is £700.
Nabbing a slot with Media Mavericks also takes patience, especially on Thursdays and Fridays when they’re at their busiest.
When they do get to you, though, the turnaround time is speedy, about 2–6 weeks after the event.

Working with their team, especially Rick, is also described by clients positively. Most say they’re professional yet warm.
Fresh Cut is big on teamwork, too. While they handle the technical grind, they’ll hear you out if you have suggestions.
As for services, they cover TV ads, branded content, digital marketing videos, and documentaries. End-to-end production is part of the deal as well.
Their audio and visual quality is also pure class. Moreover, they’re well-versed in capturing a brand’s essence and vision, as seen in this teaser video for Kaiser Chiefs.
Price-wise, smaller businesses might feel the pinch, but you get what you pay for. And in this case, that’s flexible, on-brand, big-company-trusted production.
Edits Were Great
‘Filmed a video for a crowdfunding campaign. Fresh cut were very professional, spent time to understand the goals of the campaign and ensure the props and shoot captured the product well. Raid Media is one of the most wallet-friendly options on this list. If you’re looking for cost-effective, high-calibre video work, this is your team.
Their strategy? Understand your audience, then spin an engaging and well-structured narrative that grabs their attention. That is applied to all video types, like commercials and drone shots.
Josh and his squad are also proficient at encapsulating the ‘vibe’ of your business or event, which isn’t surprising given their ‘we’ll-get-to-know-you-first’ approach.
Moreover, Raid Media is adaptable. Need a shoot at the last minute? No worries, they accept short notice requests; the location, being indoor or outdoor, rarely matters.
Just remember they’re not available over weekends, and you’ll have to get in quickly, as their schedule can fill up fast.
Despite that, they’re a worthy investment. Even their industrial-style studio rental is cost-effective—£50 an hour, £140 for a half-day, and £240 for a full day.

They create a chill atmosphere, so everyone is relaxed before the cameras start rolling. The results are authentic, unposed moments.
From there, they craft those raw moments into emotionally charged stories, complete with superb audio and voiceovers that actually sound human—no AI nonsense here.
You’ll also get what you envision, but if you’re open to ideas, they’re more than happy to toss in creative suggestions.
In terms of quality, their visuals are movie-like. See their portfolio of château and woodland weddings.
However, if you want something outside of weddings—like a promo or documentary—you may want to look elsewhere.
Their prices are also relatively higher, starting at £1,200. The good news is that it often includes everything, from first glance to final vow shoots.

With that in mind, booking Dave early is a must since he’s usually flying solo. The rates are also on the higher end, particularly for full-length videos in jaw-dropping locations.
