Crippling regret. That’s what my cousin felt after getting his wedding video back, which was shaky, blurry, and as cinematic as a middle school project. Turns out, trusting an amateur to record your life’s biggest day is bad news.
Learning from his disaster (sorry, cuz), I made sure to hire professionals for my wedding. What I got was a high-res and cinematic film that beautifully captured the event’s magic and our love story.
You deserve the same. That’s why we tracked down Leeds’ best wedding videographers, scrutinised their work, and narrowed it down to pros who won’t give you a grainy slideshow of bad angles.

Dave Spink Photography is a seasoned videography team, filming since 2009. However, it’s their seamless style that made clients, including teammates, take notice.
By ‘seamless,’ we mean non-intrusive, collaborative, and natural. Their videographers are experienced in taking candid footage, mostly achieved by their team being personable and relaxed.
The videos’ quality caught our eye, too. They’re all in high-resolution, backed by beautifully curated soundtracks, and rather versatile.
We said ‘versatile’ because they don’t stick to one angle or style. Yours can be traditional or modern, depending on your vision or personality.
It helps that their package offers full service, so the video structure—starting with preparations to the celebrations—doesn’t feel rushed.
However, one thing worth mulling over is the Sunday closure; some options here are open daily. Their customer service has also received criticism for being unfriendly sometimes.

If you’re looking for a videography team that has bagged awards like Wedding Videographer of the Year, Made to Last Films is a contender. Since opening in 2016, these pros have been praised by award-giving bodies like The Wedding Industry.
One particular reason is that they know how to blend with the guests, not just in a ‘hiding-in-the-background’ sense. Energising, funny, and casual, these folks are touted by clients as a pleasure to have around.
You can see the positive results in their featured works. The shots are in 4K and inspired by classic films, and yet there are no ‘awkward acting’ vibes in them, just authentic, candid, and high-quality footage.
That said, you must book them sharpish. They only take 30 weddings yearly.
The Sunday closure can be a snag, too.
On the upside, their fees don’t go beyond Leeds’ range. Their team can also travel worldwide.

You can see in his other work and testimonials how incredible his work his but how he actually operates during the day is also to be commended. If you’ve noticed authentic smiles and natural interactions, that’s just their style. Like everyone here, they capture moments without overbearing.
They’ll also connect with you on a personal level. That means the duo will get to know you beyond mere wedding plans—your favourites, plans, special things, etc.
It also helps that they provide free consultations, making it easy to see if you’re on the same page, style, vision, and personality-wise.
Just make sure to book them ASAP, as they fill up fast. They also have a smaller team than most.
That aside, they’re a strong bet. For one, their prices are relatively lower.
Additionally, they can travel anywhere in the UK and are open daily.

‘We had a fantastic experience with Ash and Kitty filming our wedding. We had to delay our original date due to COVID and there was a lot of uncertainty over our revised date, but our pre-wedding meetings with them offered us so much peace of mind and reassurance.

On the communication front, clients often describe them as ‘prompt,’ ‘easy-going,’ and ‘clear.’ They’re also said to be open to suggestions but aren’t shy to add professional input.
A major hitch is they’re in high demand. Also, you must pay for accommodation if the wedding venue is too far away.
The good news is they can work with almost any budget or preference. They offer cheaper packages focusing on highlight reels.
